Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Aly ("Aly", "we", "us") handles information when you visit withaly.ai, join the private waitlist, or authorize Aly to connect to supported services.
1. Information we collect
Depending on the features you choose to use, Aly may process information you provide directly, basic account and contact information, and data from services you explicitly authorize. This may include email messages and metadata, calendar events, files and documents, meeting transcripts, and related account identifiers.
2. Google user data
If you connect a Google account, Aly only requests access needed to provide the features you authorize. Depending on the connection, this can include Gmail, Google Drive and Google Calendar data. Aly uses this information to build and maintain your private executive context, identify commitments and follow-ups, prepare requested actions, and provide the service to you.
Aly does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or allow it to be used to build advertising profiles. Aly's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. How we use information
- Provide and operate Aly's executive-assistant functionality.
- Maintain structured context such as commitments, decisions, owners, due dates and evidence.
- Prepare drafts, summaries, reminders and proactive notifications.
- Secure, monitor, troubleshoot and improve the reliability of the service.
- Respond to support, privacy and security requests.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may use infrastructure and service providers solely to operate Aly, such as cloud hosting, databases, model providers and messaging providers. These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services and are subject to contractual or platform restrictions.
5. Data retention and deletion
Aly retains information for as long as necessary to provide the service, preserve authorized operating history, meet security or legal requirements, and support the controls you select. You may request disconnection or deletion of your data by contacting us. Disconnecting a source stops future access, subject to provider behavior and any information already retained as part of Aly's operating history.
6. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect user data, including scoped access, access controls, secrets management, auditability and separation between customer workspaces. No service can guarantee absolute security. See our Security page for more detail.
7. Your choices
You control which supported services are connected to Aly. You can revoke third-party access from the relevant provider at any time. You can also contact us to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
8. Waitlist data
If you join the private waitlist, we collect the email address you submit and use it only to manage early access, product updates related to Aly, and onboarding communications.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as Aly evolves. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
